In response to requests for shorter tours we’ve created a condensed version of our Original Chocolate Ecstasy Tour. We think you’ll like it.

It starts at 11am with a delicious hot chocolate in one of the best locations in London. Your Chocolate Ecstasy guide will then take you on an indulgent walking tour to some of the finest traditional English chocolatiers (and at least one other interesting chocolate shop as well!).

Tours include an abundance of luxury Chocolate sampling, fascinating chocoholic chats, your lavish hot Chocolate beginning and special prices on the ultimate Chocolate luxuries!

Launch of The Chocolate Consultant

The Chocolate Consultant invites you to a special chocolate tasting to announce the launch of The Chocolate Consultant .  A celebratory event with a brief introduction of the company and a complimentary chocolate tasting.  Held at the beautiful Drawing Room, on Portobello Road, you are invited to come down and enjoy bespoke chocolate cocktails for this exciting event. 

Inspired by her passion for chocolate, The Chocolate Consultant is a new company, created by Louise Thomas, to raise awareness of fine chocolate at a consumer level, through events, tastings, demonstrations, workshops and courses, online reviews of fine, dark chocolate, guided walks through London to explore the process of chocolate from bean to bonbon, and an online journal, keeping users up to date with events in the chocolate industry, reviews of white, milk and flavoured chocolate and bonbons, and little chocolate extras, exploring the world of fine chocolate.

Thorntons chocolatier Jane Ranby-Ashton at Birmingham High Street store

Thorntons chocolatiers will also be appearing in a number of stores across the country for the whole week, giving chocolate demonstrations, making chocolate sculptures and creating fresh chocolates to hand out to its customers - all in celebration of National Chocolate Week. Chocolatier Jane Ranby-Ashton will be at the Birmingham store from 10am until 2pm.

All week Thorntons will be sampling delicious chocolates from its new Continental Paris Collection in store, the latest addition to Thorntons famous Continental range. The Paris Collection is a selection of milk chocolates inspired by French gastronomy and gives a flavour of the city and its style.

Chocolate Tasting at Melt

Come and try Melt’s luxury chocolates at an exclusive evening tasting and talk with Martin Christy from www.seventypercent.com.
Dedicated to Santander chocolate from Colombia, Martin Christy will report back from his recent visit there, hosted by Santander chocolate producer Compañía Nacional de Chocolates.
Featuring slides and bean samples, Martin will introduce fine chocolate from Colombia with chocolate from Santander and other companies.
Melt Chocolates have been using Santander for their truffles for several years now and these will be on offer as part of the tasting along with a glass of wine and other treats. Goody bags with featured products will be on sale to take home.
