The perfect combination for any child: Art and chocolate!

Bring your children along for an hour of chocolate decoration and yummy hot chocolate. With a chance to win a golden ticket to the Purple Dragon Playcentre in Battersea and a fantastic Rococo chocolate bar included in the price, our Motcomb street shop is the place to be this evening.

Mayfair Chocolate Ecstasy tour - Friday 16th October

In response to requests for shorter tours we’ve created a condensed version of our Original Chocolate Ecstasy Tour. We think you’ll like it.

It starts at 11am with a delicious hot chocolate in one of the best locations in London. Your Chocolate Ecstasy guide will then take you on an indulgent walking tour to some of the finest traditional English chocolatiers (and at least one other interesting chocolate shop as well!).

Tours include an abundance of luxury Chocolate sampling, fascinating chocoholic chats, your lavish hot Chocolate beginning and special prices on the ultimate Chocolate luxuries!

Thorntons chocolatier Ross Sneddon at Edinburgh Store

Thorntons chocolatiers will also be appearing in a number of stores across the country for the whole week, giving chocolate demonstrations, making chocolate sculptures and creating fresh chocolates to hand out to its customers - all in celebration of National Chocolate Week. Chocolatier Ross Sneddon will be in his home town of Edinburgh in the Princes Street store from 10am until 2pm.

All week Thorntons will be sampling delicious chocolates from its new Continental Paris Collection in store, the latest addition to Thorntons famous Continental range. The Paris Collection is a selection of milk chocolates inspired by French gastronomy and gives a flavour of the city and its style.

London chocolate group - Chocolate Party

To mark Chocolate Week 2009 The London Chocolate Group is having a party to celebrate some of the UK’s best chocolatiers.  Many people think you need to go to the continent to find the best chocolate, but in recent years there has been a chocolate revolution in this country and London in particular is now home to a number of world class chocolatiers producing fresh, handmade top quality chocolates.

What’s included:
7pm onwards:  The centrepiece will be a rich chocolate fountain with a selection of dippers including strawberries, pineapple, banana, grapes, profiteroles, marshmallows, mini-flapjacks, mini-doughnuts, fudge and jelly babies.  A generous selection of savoury canapés will also be available including cherry tomato & feta bruschetta, vegetable spring rolls, smoked salmon blinis and falafel with yoghurt and mint dip. 

8pm onwards: Whilst you mingle we will be tempting your tastebuds by bringing round a selection of some of the finest chocolates in London including hand dipped ganache, truffles, salted caramels and filled chocolates from chocolatiers including Rococo, Paul A Young, Marc Demarquette, Artisan du Chocolat, William Curley, and CocoMaya.  A bar will also be available where you can buy drinks. 

10pm:  Chocolate prize draw!  Everyone attending will also be entered into a prize draw with some very chocolatey prizes.
